Adrian Sherwood in da mix on 'Sound Crash'
Adrian Sherwood has mixed and compiled a new album with 31 tracks from the On-U history for the Japanese label Beat Records. 'On-U Sound Crash' is available via mail order worldwide.
The mix album is one of many releases Beat Records is doing in license for On-U Sound. The label re-issued albums by Tackhead, Mark Stewart + Maffia, Gary Clail, Dub Syndicate and Creation Rebel, to name but a few.
On On-U Sound Crash, Adrian brought together the history of his legendary label, with (excerpts of) 31 tracks, from Tackhead to Dub Syndicate featuring Lee Perry, Gary Clail, African Head Charge, Prince Far I and many, many more.
