First Tackhead 7-inch in almost 20 years
On November 11 2011 (indeed: 11/11/11) the first Tackhead 7-inch in almost 20 years will be released, as a taster for a new album, due in 2012.
The 7-inch contains two versions remixed by Dubvisionist of Tackhead covering Bob Marley's Exodus, the title track from the 1977 album Exodus that brought world fame to the reggae icon to be (at the time), just after he fled from Jamaica after being shot.
Tackhead's Exodus (released on Echobeach/Irie Ites Music) is a taster for a new Tackhead album, due for release in 2012. The last Tackhead release on 7-inch vinyl was the split single A.F.R.I.C.A. with Stetsasonic in 1993, featuring a special version of Free South Africa from the album Friendly as a Hand Grenade.
