Adrian Sherwood just finished touring with Asian Dub Foundation. He will be on stage again at Cargo in London, May 15, Adrian did a lot of promotion for his solo album Never Trust a Hippy, released by Real World. On-U Sound just released the awesome Ghetto Priest debut album Vulture Culture, and announces releases by African Head Charge (Shrunken Head, June 30), 2Badcard, and Junior Delgado (Original Guerilla Music, may 9). Little Axe is half way finished recording the successor of the criticly acclaimed album Hard Grind. Also in shops: Enemy of the Enemy, the new album by Asian Dub Foundation, partly produced and mixed by Adrian and with guest vocals by Ghetto Priest.
The Junior Delgado album will be the first full length to be released on the new label Sound Boy. Sound Boy will feature a series of old and new productions. There will be 7"s, 10"s, lp's and the occasional cd's. The very first release will be Junior Delgado's Tichion, taken from Original Guerrilla Music. Future On-U Sound produced singles will be released via Sound Boy, as well as some classic On-U Sound tracks from the early eighties. Releases are planned from artistst such as Prince Far I, Ghetto Priest, Bim Sherman, Mutabaruka, Shara Nelson, Big Youth, Lee Perry's son Omar Perry, 2Badcard and Winston McAnuff. Sound Boy releases will not be exclusively Adrian Sherwood productions.
