Adrian Sherwood's first ever solo album Never Trust a Hippy? is finished and Adrian hopes to release the record spring 2003 on Realworld/Virgin. In the meantime On-U has launched the new website with lots of news, info, backgound and pictures. Untill Adrian's solo album, we'll have to settle with his 10-inch on Green Tea. It contains two tracks, Zero Zero One and Pass me the Rizzla.
Adrian is working hard to make the planned relaunch of the On-U Sound label a succes. There will be a new compilation album in the spirit of the Pay it all Back series, called Chainstore Massacre, with tracks by Adrian Sherwood, Little Axe, Asian Dub Foundation, 2Badcard, Mark Stewart and Dub Syndicate, as well as albums by Ghetto Priest (Vulture Culture), 2Badcard (2004), Asian Dub Foundation (Enemy of the Enemy) and Dub Syndicate (Murder Tone and No Bed of Roses).
